...yep, here's Stillman's Shoe Store...
Larry's dad Judah Stillman was located at 330 Main Street from 1947-1954, and relocated to 343 New York Ave (1954-1973)...
above and left: at 330Main, on the south side of Main between Green and Prospect Streets...
...located just before St. John's Episcopal Church(to
the right)...to the left the sign says " Carl's Stylists, Beauty
Salon" ...Hunt's bookstore was later
just beyond to the left...
above: the new store...looks like the mid-'50s...the store to the left is Einsohn Jewelers - I recall that their sign was in script... the store to the left was Murphy Travel Agency and it's manager was"Billie" (courtesy of Larry's mom, who at 96 has a very sharp memory)...the dentist on the second floor was Dr. Schwartz (Larry's mom again!)...these stores were on the west side of NY Ave close to Main...Fanny Farmers was a few stores to the right on the corner...
