Photo # 1 /Blowup A

If year was '54, then these are probably seniors.
I've seen these faces. Who?

Photo # 1 / Blowup B

A little harder to make out faces

Photo # 2: Main St. between NY Ave & Wall--North Side

Girls in front probably 9th graders-anybody know 'em? See blowups

Note Colonial Inn--more detail in photos below

Photo #2 Blowup A
Left Side

Note The kid on the bike--

--They seemed to
get into every parade!--

Photo #2 / Blowup B
Right Side

Is that Barbara Nelz?

On the right end?

Photo # 3: Still looking at north side of Main bet. NY Ave and Wall--store to left of Colonial Inn is Singer Sewing Center--kids look like Toaz band--don't remember them having uniforms

 Photo #3

Blowup A
Left Side

Looks like Dick Norkaitis on left with Trombone--what looks like a big ear is the kid behind--

Photo #3 Blowup B--Right

Somebody ought to recognize the three band members with instruments...

Stores from right are Cuttings Drugs, Rusk's Mens Wear, and can't get the leftmost--was there an Eileen Sands?

Other photos have clearer store images--

The girl behind the center band member looks like Fran Trainer. Did Frannie play an instrument ?

Photo #4: North Side of Main east of NY Ave--taken from about Bank of Huntington-Simpson Band

Photo #4

Blowup A/ Left Side

Not good facial shots

But who's that teacher on left?

Note girls in shorts-(right rear). Memorial Day?

Photo #4 Blowup B Right Side

Faces clearer--know anyone?

Stores from left:

Army/Navy,Guckenberg's, Real Estate/Insurance (name unclear), Western Union Office (clearer in another pic), part of Johannesson's Music Store--

Photo #5: Again north side of Main--block between Main and Wall. Girl Scout Troop 37 (Flag)

Stores From Right:

Colonial Tavern, Singer (can just make out the name)

Anybody with little sisters in this crowd?

Photo #5 Blowup A/Left Side

...any little sisters now?

Stores: white bldg to left of US flag is on far corner of Wall St.-think it was a liquor store.

Painted wall high up on next bldg away says: "Edstrom TV"

Photo #5

Blowup B/Right Side

...More little sisters

stores: Colonial Tavern on right, Singer sign clearer, and on left can make out Cuttings Drugs sign...

Note guy in Colonial upper window watching parade...

Photo #6

...And another Troop (does one call them troops if they're girls?)

Photo #7: North side of Main St.east of NY Ave--who is this dude? But the stores...

The Stores from the NY Ave corner: Army/Navy store (not shown),Guckenberg's, Real Estate/Insurance Office (whose?), Western Union (sign hanging out over sidewalk), Johannessons music store, Cardinal Jewelers-- I remember Western Union was very small and carved from Johannessons floor space, so that the music store was wider in the back.

The Cars: '49-'51 Ford on right---- Lincoln(??) on left

Photo #8:
North side of Main bet. NY Ave and Wall St.--showing Wall St. corner...
Stores From Right: Cutting's Rexall Drugs, Rusk's Men's Wear,Ellen Sanders(??) or Eileen Sandler(??)--was there one of these?--next :The Style Shop(?? was there one of these?), and can't make out the next store on the near corner...across to the far corner of Wall St.(poster of tiger)--
I think this was a liquor store...

Photo #9: Simpson Majorettes--

But Who?--
See Blowups

Photo #9 Blowup A-Right

...WHO DAT?

Photo # 9: Blowup B--Far Right

A Little Bigger...Who Dat?

Photo #10: Finally, One More Store--On North Side Of Main,Between NY Ave And Wall St.

Note store on right just visible---Country Togs--was next to Hartman's...

then Colonial Tavern, Singer Center, and an unknown store before Cutting's Drugs-

I remember a bar I think was on this block--"Bird And Bottle"-- it had neon

signs outlining a bird and a bottle in high windows--front was a kind of gray fieldstone--

...That's All,Folks!
