3/11/03 e-mail from Bill Reynolds:
The school is currently the Harborfields Library however nothing has changed from our days of old except there is now a sign out front, there are shrubs around the flagpole, and the trees are taller. In the view from Ann Street (below), the dirt area between the sidewalk and the curb was our 'arena' for the daily games of marbles.

...from a 3/30/03 email from Bill Reynolds:

"...Attached are four more pictures from our early days at the Greenlawn School,
courtesy of Ann Suydam..."

--I'll leave all of you to put names to the faces--

1
Kindergarten photo
on the back steps with
Mrs Phillips (nee Smith)

2
First grade photo, same location, with Mrs. Phillips. The chalk blobs in the background were made by
the blackboard cleaning crew, (usually comprised of volunteer 4th graders), clapping the erasers against the wall.
Our principal, Mr. Leahy, frowned on such activity and periodically 'suggested' that the crew wash the bricks!!!

3.
Same class, out on the playground
in the spring, with the view
of Wyckoff Street
in the background.
4.
Second grade class
out on the playground
in the spring,
with Mrs. Glynn.
