Good Morning Allan,
I'm sorry to report that we lost Bob Hubbard to a sudden heart attack last night. Emily Agnew Halligan called this morning; she had just been on the phone with Bob's sister Lorraine. Bob, who attended the Dix Hills school, was back East for a visit in the fall and Emily had seen him at a surprise party given by his sister. As always it's a shock, particularly when one has just reconnected with someone after so many years.

...and a Jan 18 email from Sheila:

Good Morning Jack,
Bob Hubbard was born on Nov. 17, 1938 at Southside Hospital, Bay Shore. Emily has no pictures from the surprise party but some may become available some time down the road.
At the moment his wife is in a bad state and the family has other concerns. I don't know if there will be a Long Islander or Newsday obit. Funeral and burial will be in Blaine, WA.
