Our Missing Classmates

We feel we have gone as far as is reasonably possible in trying to locate our 22 missing classmates:( 15 as of 11/06/06-J)

9-- Were listed as “no known address” in each of the
tenth, twentieth and thirtieth reunion directories.

11-- Have disappeared from their last known addresses.

Only two have attended a prior reunion. A detailed summary follows.

Charles Anthony Scott Binder
October 29, 2002 Email from Sheila Ehlinger:
" Have also had a response from the London School of Economics. They
inform me that they are in touch with Tony Binder, last updating his
address in 2000. They will pass on our info to him ASAP. I'm inclined to
think this will be another case of someone not responding unless there is
further action. I have been trying to remember anyone I know with
connections to LSE and can only come up with two people I've lost touch
with. If we can find someone with a connection we can get access to their
e-mail directory."
November 30, 2003 Email from Sheila:
" I bumped in to Tony in London ca. 1975, he had an English accent and was calling himself 'Chuck'."

Sonja Marie Bowin
No leads. No address in 20th or 30th booklets. Not listed in the 10th. Listed as Sonja Marie Bowin in the graduation program. Caption in the Yearbook: "Great Neck's gift to Huntington". Not likely to have any feeling of affinity with us.

Raymond A. Cook
Attended the 20th. The address given in the 30th reunion directory is for an apartment in CT where he no longer lives. A letter to the resident at that address was not answered. Albert Cook, '57, is not related.

Peter Joel Fields
20th reunion booklet had him at: c/o Williams, Farmington Creek Road,
Accokeek, MD 20607. I called the Williams listed on that road and they denied having ever heard of him.

Douglas Richard Fisher
Was married to the late Carol Ann Miller. They were listed in the 10th reunion directory. No listings for Doug after Carol died.

Marilyn Lee Goldberg
No known address in any of the reunion directories.

Beatrice Karpis
No known address in any of the reunion directories. Had a sister, Mildred '54, we may be able to locate if the Class of '54 is having a reunion next year.

Eric Edward Larsen
Was listed as being in the Air Force at the 10th. His address was c/o his late sister, Norma, in the 10th and 20th reunion directories. No known address in the 30th reunion directory. Norma's husband has moved leaving no trace.

Marion Jean Moss
No known address at any of the reunions.

Joseph Murphy
Not in the yearbook or the graduation program. Not listed in the 10th reunion booklet. Listed in the 20th as "lives in Farmingdale,NY". Listed in the 30th at 742 Motor Avenue, Farmingdale. No such address on Motor Avenue.

Donna Olsen
Not listed in the yearbook or the graduation program. No address in the 10th, 20th or 30th reunion directories.

Larry Peterson
Not listed in the yearbook or the graduation program. Not listed in the 10th reunion booklet. Listed in the 20th and 30th reunion directory. No longer at the address in the 30th. A neighbor said they moved to Florida. They knew them as Will and Ginnie Peterson.

Barbara Ann Thompson
"No known address" in all reunion booklets. Listed as a newcomer to HHS under her yearbook picture. Not likely to have any feeling of affinity with us.

Carolyn Dayton White
Listed in the graduation program but not the yearbook. No listing in any of the reunion directories.

George Wolf
In the yearbook but not the graduation program. Not at the address in the reunion directories. No answer to phone messages to the current resident. His picture is in the '55 yearbook as a senior. Not likely to have any feeling of affinity with us.
