Apologies to all you kool korner devotees for the protracted silence from yours-trulies!

Our only consolation is that our audience is at precisely the same stage in life as we, and perhaps is sympathetic as to how very busy we can be.

That said, we must go back to the Florida-mini -- as the "kids" today say, "How fun was that?"

We know Ginger is humble about it all -- but what a great job she did -- and can't not mention her wonderful husband and beautiful home!

We were certainly all well behaved.

Those of us who shared digs with Elaine Staber Steward were relieved that no rumors got around (nor an announcement by Moondog) about a party in her room -- about as wild as it got was a good gabfest with the gals.

We would love to do a run down on -- best aged -- best looking spouse -- most changed -- still the same -- etc. -- but the overall observation seems to be -- " Damn, we're good" -- but then we all knew that.

What a great bunch we are -- and how wonderful that so many of us were ready, willing and able to be there (with an emphasis on the "able")!

In case you haven't noticed we have not used the "Gossipy" format for this column -- like who had the least hair or grayest hair or youngest wife and kids ( Phil put the devil in Blue Devil)

It was just too good an occasion to get down and dirty about.

OK-- when and where is the next one?... We're there!
