THE...REAL DEAL!

August 26, 2002

We are wowed by the paths our fellow Huntingtionians have taken!
What an interesting and ambitious group we were/are.

Now Nona....don't you want to round up some 56'ers to be bridesmaids on your
Bermuda venture? One of these two writers (begins with "E") is a devout
Bermuda-holic!

Anybody out there got any more old columns? What fun to read! We should
have pursued journalism instead of nursing. Step aside Ann and Abby---here
come the Agnew sisters.

Duke Morton's bio was one of those aforementioned wowers! Does anybody
besides me remember his imaginary dog---? He would walk around school with a
leash with nothing attached.....?

And how about Teddy Mastroianni falling down the stairs at Simpson--and being
carried to the nurses office? (all a joke of course) He pulled it once in the
Huntingtion theater while sitting in the balcony with one of these two
authors.

Does having a great sense of humor propel one into a successful adult life?
--- Sure could prove it by Ted and Duke!

Anyone up for a 56'er trivia game?
Sample question:
What was the mascot for the Junior Navy at the 1955 Sports Night?
Answer: Goat--compliments of yours trulies--our very own pet named
Ophelia--(we put the Hills in Dix Hills) --- not many goats there these days!

Seen lunching in California--Sue Cahn and Elaine Staber--Why don't they
invite Anton Lignell to join them next time?

Cory Raynor, 88yrs young, has kept in touch and visited us over the years.
Now retired (of course) and living outside of Atlanta. He spends some time
on his computer and would love to be in touch--email
address--cory_ray20@msn.com.
If he failed any of you, we think it's to late to plead you case.
