Below:Brancato's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, now a steak and seafood restaurant.

But don't try to order in these:

...back then we'd go to Linck's back door, buy lobsters, throw pails, butter,beer,potatos (not necessarily in that order)etc in our trunks, and off to Wincoma or Eaton's neck for a beach blast...

Left: NY Avenue and Jericho Turnpike. Site of Superior Diner where oncoming cars are stopped for the light; site of the Chrysler dealer on the other corner; takenfrom the site of the Oldmobile dealer, now a Staples.

 

 

Below:Town launching ramp, 25A, Cold Spring Harbor. Sites of a rickety clam bar to the left and The Mooring, a fine restaurant, both of which burned to the groundin the late 50's or early 60's.
