Barbara Taipale Carranza

Well, it's a long story: Some parts great, some parts wild and some parts very difficult. I suspect all of you, my classmates, can say about the same thing.

After high school I went to many colleges and earned a number of degrees in various fields in hopes of having a career. Taught elementary school on Long Island for 23 years! For a short time, I was married to Mr. Lipari only to discover I did not like him too much.

Then at the age of 45, the real adventure began. I moved to Aspen Colorado and then on to many other places in the US.

At age 55, after recovering from a very dibilating illness of 14 years, I went to medical school for 4 years of grueling studies in Western and Chinese Medicine.

After practicing in the Southwest, I married Senor Carranza whom I adore!
I am now in Cancun Mexico.
