their youngest grandson
After High School, I spent a
year traveling across country in my 1955 VW Beetle. I attended a couple
of different schools and then went into the Army in 1961-1963.
Came home and went immediatey to work.
Finally in 1966 I really settled down and I got married. My wife Diana(Procino)
graduated from Walt Whitman High in 1961. So we are both Huntington people.
We have five children: 3 boys, 2 girls. Their ages are 34,33,32,31 and29.
Those teenage years were rough to say the least. That is why my hair is white. Today my oldest is in business, my second son is an Attorney, my third son is a NYC Policeman, my oldest daughter is a housewife and my youngest daughter is an accountant and still lives at home.
We moved to Farmingdale in 1967
and have stayed put. I am now retired. Diana has three more years as
a teacher in Special Ed for Nassau Boces. We have six Grandchildren.
In spite of many ups and downs over the years, life has been good. Of
course there are a million stories about the last 46 years
but that can wait until we all meet. Diana and I are still in touch with
Avalon Probst who now lives in California. We went together in High School
and have remained friends over the years. I really haven't seen or heard
from anyone else in all these years.Until we all get together again.
