I
was born on Oct 12, 1937 in Manhattan. Moved to Babylon when I was two and
my brother was a baby. We than moved to Patchogue and than Huntington Station.
When I was 4 we moved to Huntington proper. I started kindergarten at Woodbury
Road School and we moved to Soundview Ave. In 1947 we moved to Centerport
on 25A and went to Centerport School, Toaz Junior High ,then Huntington
High School.
In 1953 I met my future husband Werner Wolf. I was engaged in my junior year
and got married after graduation on Dec 30 1956. Werner was in the service by
than and he was stationed in Japan.
While he was in Japan I gave birth to Werner Michael on June 2nd 1958. When
Werner came home from Japan I became pregnant with my daughter Vicki, who was
born Feb 15 1960.
We moved to 1081 Ocean Ave. Bay Shore on Dec 15 1960 and have lived there ever
since. I have worked several different types of jobs - one was deli work in
the supermarkets. I went to school and worked at data entry for a while, then
drove a school van for a while. Due to illness, I retired in
2000 and am enjoying it.
Back to my children: my son Werner married in 1977. His wife's name
is Debbie. He went into the Air Force from which he retired after 23 years.
He and Debbie had two children: Christina, who is now married 5 years,
and
a son Werner John who is a drowning victim. He drowned when he was 41/2--
and is now 22.
My daughter Viki married in 1978 to Bob and they had Melissa. They
were divorced last year. Melissa has one more year of college and will be
married right after graduation.
Time has passed by so fast, it seems impossible that we are close
to our 50th year since graduation. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone
at the reunion. I pray we all will be there. Thank you for reading my bio.
