After H.S. I completed my first college year at Florida Southern in Lakeland, FL. HATED IT!!HOT,
HUMID, YUCKY!!! I am a winter person, love that snow! Transferred to Penn State Univ. and graduated in health and physical education. Taught in Lloyd Harbor, taught swimming at the local YMCA and met my husband Carl, who being from Wisconsin, did not know how to swim. He can now stay afloat!!

I am still working full time, not teaching but doing security work in the Huntington School Dist. and more specifically at the high school. When I returned to work from having the children there were no teaching jobs available in my field, so I went into security work and was the Director of Security for the school district for 14 years. Now I am just one of the department, we no longer have a Dir. of Security and thats just fine with me! I see Madeline Griffin Glen everyday and several others of us who still work in the district.

We have 4 wonderful children, 3 of whom are married. Our married daughter lives in Spokane, WA., one married son lives in Tulsa OK, another married son lives in Glen Head NY, and our other unmarried son lives in Huntington. All are doing very well, are expert skiers and ski patrollers-- in fact that is Carl's and my passion also and we ski in Utah, Idaho, Washington, or Colorado a few times a year. Carl is retired, as of this year but I still work-- have to support our habits! Cross country traveling and skiing!

In the summer, I am a primary delegation leader working for People to People Ambassador Programs taking athletes and students around the world. I have been through most of Europe and Scandinavia and this summer I am leading a delegation of 40 student ambassadors and 4 teachers to Australia and New
Zealand for 31/2 weeks. I am really excited about the trip and there is a lot of preparation for us to get ready. My teachers and I give a 12 hour course on the two countries in preparation. We will live with host families
in the outback and on a farm, among other places.

I am still working full time, not teaching but doing security work in the Huntington School Dist. and more specifically at the high school. Times have really changed since we all were in high school, and I have to admit it was a lot more fun back then!
