I attended Dartmouth College '60 and Columbia Law School '63 with an LLM in '65. In 1963 I married Pat Rodenrys, Class of '57 Huntington High. I taught at Columbia Law School for two years, and then joined the law firm of Milbank, Tweed Hadley & McCloy in New York, a large international law firm.

Pat got interested in law and started Columbia in 1963, graduating in 1966. She went to work at successive law firms in New York, specializing in tax work. Pat retired as a partner in 1990. I went into trial work, became a partner in ''72 and retired on December 31, 2001. On September 11 I was at work. My office is two blocks east of what was the twin towers. I got pummeled with smoke, soot and debris but nothing more serious. Some of our neighbors and colleagues who worked in the twin towers perished.

We have two wonderful children: ! Sarah and Sam. Sarah was just awarded a PhD in Art History from NYU. She will begin work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the fall and is scheduled to be married in September. Sam received his law degree from Cardozo in 2000 but has gone into the "music production businee"; he looks for rap artists and sells their music to record companies.

Pat and I have continued to have a home in Huntington through the years. When I retired we moved to Lloyds Neck, where I am having a grand time boating and fishing. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 15th.
